Hat Embroidery

It has long since been the fashion craze of wearing hats.  Irregardless of the weather, the time of the year or the event, caps, hats and headbands are common head accessories among men, women and children alike.  But even more so, it is embroidered hats that are the biggest fashion trends among the hat lovers.  Indeed, the hat embroidery market is every designer’s dream; it is a flourishing market that crosses all borders.

Like clothing apparel, hats are required to be strong and resilient to wear and tear.  Hats should also ideally be water-fast and made of material able to withstand varied washing conditions.  It is necessary therefore that all hat designs and hat decorations be able to meet these conditions as well.  Embroidery designs, therefore, have taken the market by storm for hat apparel designs.  Indeed, hat embroidery is the most common, if not the only, form of marking or designing a hat that is different from the average hat.

Most people, on hearing the words “hat embroidery” automatically think of sunflower decorated hats and turn their heads in horror.  Indeed, even I have done it!  But look carefully at the next person that passes you with a hat on his head.  If it is a cap, then most likely it carries on the front a simple tick that is the patented mark of NIKE, or the well-known ADIDAS logo along its side.  If you go to a football or cricket game, how many people do you see wearing the colors of their team on their heads?  And of these, how many are the patented designs made from embroidery thread.  Embroidered hats are the means by which major marketing companies get their trademarks around.  Embroidered hats are also means of supporting your favorite teams at sporting events.

Embroidered hats are also the newest fashion trends.  How many of you would prefer to spend up to a hundred dollars extra on a hat with a NIKE sign than to buy a simple hat without any designs?  Off course most of you would, because then it wouldn’t be cool to wear an imitation now, would it?  These major companies spend minimum amounts of money to place their embroidery designs and logos on caps that cost next to nothing, and potentially make up to one hundred percent times the amount that they spend!  Hat embroidery is indeed the cheap alternative to every major company who wants to post a billboard on every customer’s head!
